Key responsibilities include:

* Foster and promote a culture of safety and zero unsafe acts.

* Lead small-sized projects and similar scoped assignments with budget, costing, and scheduling of moderate complexity with minimal leadership guidance.

* Develop plan and resources assigned projects.

* Lead cross functional teams in developing overall execution strategy with limited guidance from leadership.

* Develop contracts/specification, submit requisitions for labor and/or materials, process pay requests, review, and approve invoices, vendor proposals, scope revisions, etc.

* Lead requisition process, reviews and approves invoices, vendor proposals, scope revisions, etc. with leadership guidance.

* Act as the single point of contact for business partner engagements within their region, make routine contacts with division personnel to ascertain building-related problems/conditions and provide prompt feedback and direction.

* Communicates to business partners regarding regional facilities performance.

* Assist in the preparation of the building construction, operations and maintenance budgets including project evaluation and justifications, development of budget estimates and the preparation of work orders.

* Manage master service agreements.

* Conduct inspections on the facility campus.

* Participate in continuous improvement efforts.

* Working knowledge of IWMS system.

* Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required with 2+ years or relevant experience required. Bachelor of Science in Facilities Management preferred. In lieu of a bachelor's degree an associate degree with 6+ years of relevant experience or a high school diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience is required.

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:

* Business acumen and strategic thinking ability

* Organization and project management skills

* Ability to establish accountability for execution.

* Effective interpersonal communications skills; able to effectively communicate and build relationships with stakeholders, process teams, leadership, and third parties.

* Ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing priority initiatives.

Additional Information

Ameren's selection process includes a series of interviews and may include a leadership assessment process. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates.

Qualifications - Facilities Manager

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required with 5+ years or relevant experience required. Bachelor of Science in Facilities Management preferred. In lieu of a bachelor's degree an associate degree with 9+ years of relevant experience or a High school diploma with 11+ years of relevant experience is required. PMP, IFMA (International Facilities Management Association) FMP or CFM certification preferred.

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Business acumen and strategic thinking ability
  • Organization and project management skills
  • Ability to effectively delegate responsibility and establish accountability for execution.
  • Effective interpersonal communications skills; able to effectively communicate and build relationships with stakeholders, process teams, leadership, and third parties.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing priority initiatives.

Compensation Range:

$59,800.00 - $115,900.00

* This pay range encompasses multiple levels of the role. Career level and compensation depends upon applicant's credentials.

At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
