HR Business Partner (Atlanta, GA)

Your Job

Georgia-Pacific LLC. has an HR Generalist / Business Partner opening in the headquarters location of Atlanta, GA to support the Operations Capability organization. This position will work to build strong rapport and relationships alongside employees and supervisors in the organization while empowering supervisors to grow, transform, and improve effectiveness. They will be crucial in building culture and advancing our talent position to support the business on delivering their objectives. This role will have several areas of HR responsibilities such as furthering our culture, building relationships with supervisors to coach on policies, compensation, performance, and employee relations as well as executing on initiatives that further strategic vision.

This is a hybrid position based in Atlanta, Georgia.

What You Will Do

• Provide support to supervisors to bring awareness and connect them to resources that support all aspects of HR needs including talent development and supervisor effectiveness strategies.
• Partner with leveraged HR capabilities for service delivery to supervisors and employees for problem and needs resolution.
• Provide HR Compliance support across multiple business segments
• Provide support to early-career programs across business segments including program strategy, analysis, recruitment, and onboarding.
• Leverage data-driven solutions to pull reports and prepare summaries to support business and advance results.
• Deliver solutions that support/enable teams to meet business objectives.
• Develop business acumen to understand key drivers of business performance and support delivering results (identifying process improvements to increase delivery value)
• Be a culture champion who further connects employees to our values and advances the application of our Principled-Based Management culture.
• Build relationships, credibility, and rapport to influence and advance business vision and initiatives.
• Be forward thinking to anticipate needs and issues before they arise.
• Thrive in a dynamic and changing environment while meeting internal and external customer needs; work to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Three or more years in an HR-related role.
• Experience building relationships and partnering with leaders to advance business initiatives.
• Experience working with data, performing analysis, pulling reports, etc. to inform leaders and execute on opportunities.
• A passion for furthering the application of Principle Based Management as it relates to developing talent in Koch companies.

• Strong critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
• Experience with employee relations issues/ knowledge of employment law
• Experience developing relationships and working with supervisors
