This position is
Be Bold. You will be involved in the department's research activities as follows. You will be an integral member of the Chidley laboratory where your primary responsibility as a postdoctoral researcher will be to design and conduct independent and collaborative experiments. You will develop and apply genetic and biochemical approaches (e.g., CRISPR-based screens, metabolite and drug uptake assays, flow cytometry,...) to identify and characterize nutrient and drug transporters relevant to disease progression and therapeutic response. You will be responsible for all aspects of the research: design of experiments, execution, analysis and reporting of data with guidance and mentoring from me at all stages. Additional responsibilities include contributing to manuscript preparation, mentoring junior lab members, presenting research findings at meetings, and assisting with the preparation of grant applications. As a member of the Chidley lab, you are also expected to contribute to a positive, collaborative lab environment by being a good lab citizen-this includes following lab policies and safety guidelines, treating colleagues with respect, and helping to maintain the space and resources we all rely on.
