POSITION OVERVIEW: ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Design, implement, and manage advanced platform capabilities to support real-time analytics, personalization and AI-driven business applications 2. Oversee deployment and integration of streaming data pipelines and services across the enterprise 3. Collaborate with data engineering, and business teams to ensure platforms meet performance, reliability and scalability requirements 4. Ensure platforms adhere to enterprise architecture, security and compliance standards 5. Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing modern platforms team, fostering technical growth and continuous improvement 6. Perform other duties as assigned 7. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field * Five (5) years of experience in platform engineering, advanced analytics platforms, or related functions * Proven expertise in real-time data streaming platforms, personalization systems, and artificial intelligence / machine learning (AI/ML) enablement * Familiarity with cloud platforms, microservices and modern data architectures * Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance requirements * Ability to translate platform capabilities into business value and actionable solutions * Leadership and collaboration skills to align cross-functional teams on modern platform solutions * Strategic thinking to drive innovation while ensuring scalability, reliability, and governance JOB CONDITIONS: * Some travel required Preferred Qualifications: Pay Transparency: Pay: Additional Details: FedEx Freight is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.
