General Job Summary

The Calibration Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the operational efficiency of the Test and Manufacturing departments by overseeing calibration schedules, maintaining equipment records, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. This position requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual capable of managing clerical and technical tasks with minimal supervision.

Essential Job Functions



  • Communication & Coordination


    • Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear instruction and minimize errors.
    • Interfaces effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors to support calibration and equipment needs.


  • Multitasking & Organization


    • Manages multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
    • Maintains accurate documentation and records related to equipment calibration and asset tracking.


  • Decision-Making & Problem Solving


    • Applies logical and analytical thinking to make informed decisions regarding equipment usage and maintenance.
    • Identifies potential issues proactively to prevent equipment failure and production delays.


  • Equipment Oversight


    • Ensure all test equipment is properly calibrated, functional, and compliant with internal and external standards.
    • Performs Asset Database Maintenance with minimal supervision following initial training.


  • Performance & Reliability


    • Maintains a strong attendance record and demonstrates reliability in daily operations.
    • Supports automated testing and product entry tasks as assigned.

Education and Experience



  • High school diploma
  • Must have 2 or more years of experience
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excell, Word, SharePoint, and Outlook)
  • Basic understanding of digital and RF electronics is preferred


Work Environment & Physical Requirements



  • Operates in a production environment with exposure to manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Performs repetitive tasks requiring manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Requires 20/20 vision and color vision (corrective lenses acceptable).
