Position Summary Emergency Medicine Faculty - Non-Tenured Track Fellowship Trained in Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasound (AEMUS) The Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC)-a leader in innovation, education, and clinical excellence-seeks a highly motivated Emergency Medicine physician to join our faculty as an full time Assistant Director of the AEMUS Fellowship and Core Faculty in the UIC Emergency Medicine Residency Program. This role offers the opportunity to take on a key leadership position in ultrasound education, mentoring fellows, residents, and medical students within a robust, academically focused department. The selected candidate will contribute to the ongoing development of our AEMUS curriculum, educational initiatives, and scholarly activity, with the potential for future advancement into greater leadership roles within the department's AEMUS division. Duties & Responsibilities Clinical Faculty to work shifts in the UI Emergency Medicine Department Assist the Fellowship Director in managing day-to-day program operations, including scheduling, curriculum development, accreditation compliance, and coordination of clinical and educational activities.
