What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Maintain a visible presence and help to deter unwanted activity by conducting regular and random armed patrols inside the retail location and around its perimeter.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details as directed by Allied Universal protocols.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior within the location.
• Interact professionally with employees, patrons, and/or visitors, offering assistance and information as required.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities, following established communication and escalation protocols.
• Report observations and/or incidents promptly to management, assisting with additional duties as assigned by Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
