Security Officer - Mall Patrol - Security Clearance

As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol - Security Clearance in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a retail and mall setting, you will actively monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence throughout the location. Your role will involve interacting with the public, addressing concerns, and upholding a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at retail or mall locations by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail or mall premises and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, potential threats, or security-related hazards to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
• Interact with visitors, tenants, and employees in a professional manner to support a welcoming atmosphere.
• Assist with access control procedures and monitor entry and exit points as required by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
