As a Security Officer in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer serving a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence, and offer outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the technology, media, or telecom location and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site.
• Observe for potential security-related issues and report any irregularities to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and identification verification as directed by site policies.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, patrols, and any incidents that occur during the shift.
• Support Allied Universal team members and client staff by providing information and assistance as needed during routine activities and emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
