Security Officer - Data Center

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Financial in Hillsboro, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact for all visitors and employees. Your role involves monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and providing exceptional customer service, helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence and professionalism. You will play a key part in maintaining a secure environment by remaining attentive and responsive to any situations as they arise, while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying identification and logging visitor information according to established protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as necessary.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a welcoming environment.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, employees, and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Document daily activities, observations, and any incidents in detailed reports for Allied Universal management and/or client review.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
