As a Security Officer - Tech Site - Weekdays in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and you will deliver exceptional customer service while responding to queries and providing assistance. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with inquiries and provide directions as needed.
• Monitor access control points and help to maintain an orderly flow of people within the location.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to support overall security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience with computers or tablets is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• This position is primarily a driving post and is preferred for candidates with relevant experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
