What you'll do We provide the WiFi experience, you, as a passenger on the world's leading airlines get to use for super-fast Viasat internet and streaming content. As a member of our team you will support the critical infrastructure used for creating, testing, and delivering this content to our dedicated media access servers (MAS). The day-to-day Maintain and improve our current setup for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) systems, with a focus on applying GitHub Actions, Artifactory, Vault, and GitHub. Improve and implement testing, both virtual and on bare metal hardware meant to improve software quality by catching issues before they get to production Implement and maintain new pipelines for contractual and interface testing Become an authority in what we build, how we build it, and how we deliver itWork with other team members, and teams, to define testing and build requirements, refine and iterate implementation of those requirements, review each others work, and generally use an Agile approach to make all the above better Additional Information: This position is located onsite. Knowledge of Python, C/C++, yaml, Git, shell scripting Performing tests following a requirement based testing approach What will help you on the job Past usage or experience with CI/CD infrastructure, primarily demonstrating GitHub Actions, Artifactory, Vault, and GitHub Previous experience writing tests Ability to work with a team, perform cod reviews, and iterate in a continuously improving environment Previous Viasat internship experience Salary range $83,500.00 - $132,000.00 / annually. For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $104,000.00- $156,000.00/ annually At Viasat, we consider many factors when it comes to compensation, including the scope of the position as well as your background and experience. Base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional cash or stock incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
