Insurance Verification Specialist Medicare Collections Manassas VA MUST: 3+ solid years of Medicare insurance follow up Strong knowledge of claims, reimbursements and collections for Medicare, Managed Care, Medicaid, Workers Comp, commercial payors Working with various payors and payor portals Following up on and working denied Medicare claims Handling Medicare Collections and following up on denied Medicare claims A/R experience Reviewing EOB's Strong collections experience and comfortable making collection calls Experience taking calls from patients and responding to billing questions Charge entry and payment posting experience Experience in a surgical setting a plus DUTIES The duties of the Medicare Insurance Verification Specialist and Medicare Collections include but are not limited to the following: Follow up with Medicare work denied claims Verify Medicare Insurance Take billing calls from patients and respond to inquiries Submit appeals on rejected claims Resubmit claims for payment Handle charge entry and payment posting Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
