Position Title: Mill Operator
Wage: $21.00-$26.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm QPS Employment Group has a great Mill Operator position available at a company in Olivette, MO. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Mill Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Operate and monitor milling machinery and auxiliary equipment. - Inspect materials for quality and consistency throughout processing. - Adjust machinery settings to optimize production and quality. - Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance on equipment. - Document production output, equipment issues, and material variances per company protocols. - Report equipment malfunctions and assist with troubleshooting and repairs. - Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. - Communicate issues promptly to supervisors and team members. Mill Operator Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. - Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. - Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and safety documents. - Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in a noisy environment. - Experience operating mill or similar processing equipment preferred. - Certification in forklift operation or other industrial equipment preferred. bridgeton@qpsemployment.com About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
