OVERVIEW This is a 3rd Shift role the hours are 10:30pm - 6:00am Monday - Friday Working under the general direction of the Production Supervisor, the Production Lead schedules, trains, checks, and leads the production and maintenance related work of their designated shift. The Production Lead is responsible for the safety, quality, and productivity of all of the production employees staffed on their designated shift, as well as plant security. The Production Lead will be hands on, overseeing the activities of their team while completing day-to-day maintenance, repair, or replacement of facility equipment to ensure manufacturing efficiency, quality, and safety; supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of American Sugar Refining.
