Material Handler II (7:00pm-700 am, 7:00am-7:00pm)

Who we are looking for:

We are currently looking for a Material Handler to be based out of Thomasville, GA. Reporting to Shift Lead. The Material Handler II will be responsible for packaging finished goods, monitor products for defects, assist in the start-up or changeover of products and keep work area organized.

What you'll do:

Material Handler II's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Bundling pipe according to inventory and shipping specifications
  • Operate and observe machinery during production, assist with Quality Control duties utilizing quality tools
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions


What you'll bring:



  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing or general labor preferred
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills


Within 3 months, you'll:



  • Understand how to pack and bundle PVD per packaging standards
  • Learn the PVC manufacturing process
  • Assist with quality control duties and become forklift certified

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $17.50 per hour. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
