Shipping Clerk

POSITION: SHIPPING CLERK

LOCATION: Chatsworth, CA

SHIFT: Monday thru Thursday from 7:00 am to 5:30pm

Additionally, but not limited to responsibilities listed below:

• Responsibilities included, but are not limited to preparing shipping and receiving operations and verifying correctness of goods against purchase order documentation.
• Package goods on a timely manner and prepare shipping labels using Fed-Ex and UPS software.
• Able to plan and prioritize schedules to meet shipment goals.
• Responsible for inventory and for shipping supplies.
• Restock supplies and performs general organizational and house keeping duties.

MINIMUN QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 1-2 years experience in shipping and in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent education and/or experience required.
• Familiar with shipping softwares, such as Fed-Ex and UPS.

Read and write English required. Bilingual in Spanish a plus
