Torch Technologies is seeking a highly talented Counter-Countermeasure and Threat Discrimination Analyst to provide engineering and technical analysis in support of new missile defense capabilities. This role focuses on countermeasure mitigation, object discrimination, lethal object identification, and electronic protection. This is a highly technical position requiring significant analytical experience.

As a Counter-Countermeasure and Threat Discrimination Analyst your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Provide technical analysis and scientific support to MDA's Counter-Countermeasures and Discrimination Directorate.

  • Develop and evaluate concepts to enhance countermeasure mitigation and threat discrimination capabilities.

  • Perform analysis of IR/RF signatures and support development of electromagnetic countermeasures and electronic protection techniques.

  • Conduct multi-disciplinary and multi-functional technical analysis, including trade studies, risk assessments, and mitigation planning.

  • Support technical system performance assessments, contingency evaluations, and implementation planning.

Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, 8+ years of related experience OR

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, 10+ years of related experience

  • Active TS/SCI clearance

  • Extensive experience analyzing IR/RF signatures, developing electromagnetic countermeasures, and supporting physics- and statistics-based analytical efforts.

  • Experience conducting multi-discipline technical analysis and developing trade studies and risk mitigation efforts.

  • Strong knowledge of missile defense fundamentals, including threat discrimination and object classification.

  • Experience with system performance assessments and implementation planning.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

  • Degree in a STEM or other technical discipline.

  • Experience working within Special Access Programs (SAP).
