POSITION SUMMARY: Repair, rebuild and maintain production equipment such as CNC, robots, lathes, mills, blenders, air conditioners, pneumatic equipment, electrical equipment, vacuum furnaces, chemical tanks, pumps, motors, and other hydraulic equipment.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The duties and responsibilities regularly performed for this position are:



  • Strong skills troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment (both low and high voltage) using multimeter and megger.
  • Install precision ball screws and bearings.
  • Rebuild pumps (hydraulic and water).
  • Replace precision thrust bearings.
  • Repair grit blast machines.
  • Maintain plant air compressors.
  • Rebuild hydraulic cylinders.
  • Ensures compliance with Company Repair Station Manual (RSM) / Quality Control Management (QCM). Must be aware of ISO / Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS) quality requirements.
  • Adhere to all Company health, safety and environmental policies while performing job duties.
  • Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.


The marginal duties and responsibilities (performed occasionally or at irregular intervals) for this position are:



  • Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment.
  • Replace electrical motor bearings.
  • Repair vacuum furnace components.
  • Performing other tasks in the facility as needed.


EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:


The specific EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE requirements of this position are:



  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Five years' experience working in the field with electro-mechanical background
  • Previous industrial maintenance experience is a plus



The specific LICENSES and/or CERTIFICATIONS required for this position are:



  • Must pass job related test



The specific SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE required for this position are:



  • Able to read and write in English
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics
  • Basic math skills
  • Knowledge of tolerance required for all equipment and ability to set same.


Personal protective equipment (PPE) required for this position is: Eye protection and safety shoes required in shop area. Chemical resistant apron, gloves, boots and face shields - dependent on job duty.


Physical demands for this position: Ability to walk, kneel, squat, bend, twist, crouch as needed to complete required maintenance tasks. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed to complete maintenance activities.
