Specific duties include 1) Develop, conduct with experiments involving plant genome editing and vector construction, 2) Maintain plant or microbial cultures and prepare media, buffer, and reagents. 3) collect, record and analyze experimental data accurately. 4) Assist in the training of students or visiting scholars on laboratory techniques and protocols. 5) Participate in report preparation, and research presentations as needed. 6) operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
Work is performed primarily in a laboratory setting with occasional greenhouse or field tasks. May involve occasional evenings and weekend hours to maintain experiments. |
