Suburban Hospital is a 228-bed, Level II Trauma Center, and a community-based hospital in Bethesda, Maryland. Suburban Hospital is a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine and has served Montgomery County and the surrounding area for more than 65 years. The designated trauma center for Montgomery County, Suburban Hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission and has earned ANCC Magnet Recognition for nursing excellence.



What you will do:



This position is responsible for the overall coordination of the Magnet Certification Program and supports nursing leaders in developing a framework and managing the processes that create and sustain a culture based on the Magnet Model. The Magnet Coordinator promotes an awareness and understanding of positive professional practice principles, cultivates and inspires transformational leadership, and ensures nursing excellence and quality patient outcomes.

What you will bring:



  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Master's Degree required.
  • Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the Maryland.
  • Continuing education and professional development (ANCC) or related Organizational Development or related certificate.
  • Minimum of two years developing continuing education programs.
  • Current CPR Certification required


Salary Range: Minimum /hour - Maximum /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
