Description

Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide strategic financial guidance to Program Managers and CAMs to drive strong financial performance, cost control, and risk mitigation
  • Oversee accurate revenue recognition, invoicing, cost management, funding status, gross margin analysis, and cash-flow forecasting
  • Lead the development of program financial strategies, including baselines, long-range plans, and scenario analyses
  • Manage preparation and approval of monthly financial reports, EACs/ETCs, and internal program reporting packages
  • Ensure weekly cost monitoring and compliance with budgets, charging structures, and government accounting requirements (FAR/DFARS/CAS)
  • Direct development and maintenance of WBS structures, time-phased budgets, schedules, and baseline control documentation
  • Provide leadership for EVMS implementation and CDRL preparation, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant reporting
  • Serve as the financial lead for proposals, including cost-volume pricing, BOEs, and audit support
  • Identify and drive process improvements across program finance, including ERP data integrity, forecasting, and reporting efficiency



Required Skills:



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline
  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in program finance, preferably within the defense or aerospace industry
  • Strong knowledge of government accounting standards, including FAR, DFARS, and CAS
  • Demonstrated experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data modeling, analysis)
  • Hands-on experience with EVMS tools and processes; COBRA experience preferred
  • Proven ability to partner with Program Management and executive leadership

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying risks and recommending solutions
  • Travel - Some travel may be required (up to 10%)



Compensation Information

Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 (Annually)

Please note, this is the expected compensation however, ESCO Maritime Solutions considers many factors in determining compensation prior to office, such as: responsibilities and scope of role, candidate's work experience and education related to position, applicable certifications or trainings, business and market conditions.
