Job Description:
A challenging and rewarding job opportunity for a Senior Production Planner. The ideal candidate will be a self-starting, self-motivated individual who will be responsible for developing the production schedule assisting the operations team in schedule execution. Core Responsibilities:
*Utilizes ERP to develop and communicate production schedule by ensuring schedule is accurately reflected in the ERP system and the cell communication boards.
*Assures internal and external customer requirements are met in accordance with the Production Schedule.
*Track progress of jobs from launch through completion and support operations with expediting as required.
*Assist production supervision with level loading workcenter schedules, maintaining throughput objectives and balancing the line.
*Maintain Line-of-Balance tracking for critical programs.
*Track performance to monthly forecast including risks and opportunities.
*Liaison between operations and customer service, ensuring customer service has accurate delivery dates and timely notification of delays.
*Analyze component consumption rates and maintain system parameters & safety stock accordingly.
*Works closely with Purchasing to ensure vendors delivery date is aligned with the needs of the business.
*Ensures incoming orders, shipments, material transactions and other logistics activities are performed in a timely and efficient manner.
*Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
*5 plus years of scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in the Aerospace industry.
*ERP / MRP Experience required, Syteline 9 experience preferred
*Strong Computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required.
*Experience with Power BI a plus.
*Ability to prioritize workload as conflicts arise and resolve issues in a timely manner.
*Balance customer needs while protecting the interests of the company.
*Strong verbal and written communication skills.
*Comfort working in a constantly changing environment. Adaptability & flexibility are critical in this role
*Candidate must be able to work well in both a team environment and across various departmental functions within the company.

Education Requirements:
*BS Degree Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred.

Software/Tools Used:
ERP / MRP Experience required, Syteline 9 experience preferred
Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required
Power BI a plus.
