We are seeking an Oven Lead to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As an Oven Lead, you will be responsible for final forming and slicing of products to specification, monitoring quality on proofer plates and exiting the oven, and maintaining sanitary conditions in the proofer and oven areas to meet GMP and safety standards.

• Hours: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Weekend Availability: Required

• Hourly Rate: $21

• Assure final forming and slicing of products to specification.
• Monitor units on proofer plates and align products for efficient oven transfer.
• Align units exiting the oven onto the cooling conveyor for optimal cooling.
• Coordinate activities of oven area employees, including training and assigning work.
• Perform general sanitation cleanup of proofer and oven areas.
• Ensure cutting blades are sharp and disposed of properly.
• Assist Oven Operator in maintaining process control of the proof box and oven.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry.
• Adhere to Lockout/Tagout procedures and GMP standards.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months experience as a Senior Oven Operator.
• Ability to follow safety and GMP protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Prior experience in bakery operations.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement processes.
