**About the Role: Drive Safety Excellence**

Step into a critical leadership position where your expertise will directly safeguard our teams and operations. **What You'll Do:**

* Manage and coordinate comprehensive safety activities for a dedicated safety team, ensuring all requirements are met across field and facility operations.

* Conduct thorough safety audits and inspections, identifying potential hazards and recommending corrective actions to ensure adherence to regulatory and internal standards.

* Develop impactful reports and presentations for management, effectively communicating safety performance and strategic initiatives.

* Provide strategic and proactive direction on initiatives designed to continuously improve Environmental, Health, and Safety performance by minimizing risks and liabilities.

* Implement all aspects of the company's safety manual, ensuring consistent compliance among field employees and subcontractors across all locations.

* Oversee and direct programs to guarantee compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies.

* Offer expert guidance for departmental processes and activities, including regulatory compliance and accident investigations.

* Provide leadership and recommendations for the design, implementation, and administration of all safety-related initiatives, policies, procedures, and processes.

* Deliver performance coaching and feedback to direct reports and actively participate in annual performance reviews.

* Contribute to the recruitment and hiring process for new safety roles, building a strong and capable team.

**What You'll Bring:**

* Bachelor's degree in Safety, Health, Environmental Applied Sciences, or a related discipline (preferred, equivalent work experience is also acceptable).

* 5 years of experience in Safety, including demonstrated lead experience.

* Proficient oral and written communication skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences.

* Working knowledge of workplace safety laws and regulations, including standards from relevant safety and environmental agencies.

* Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

* Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of standard office software suites and health and safety management systems and platforms.

**Bonus Points:**

* Certifications in CPR and First Aid.

* Training certifications such as 10hr, 30hr, or 40hr.

* Professional certifications like 500, CHST, or ASP.
