Description and Requirements

Lenovo's Cloud Service Provider (CSP) Segment is seeking a highly qualified Senior Program Manager whose primary mission is to lead cross-functional, cross-geography teams in driving both customer-facing programs (new business opportunities, RFx bidding, contract deliverables, customer scorecards, QBRs/QTRs, account-based initiatives) and product offering delivery programs (planning, execution, and delivery of CSP offerings and solutions), from early engagement through end of service.

This is an individual contributor role requiring senior-level program management, account management, and operational expertise. The candidate must be able to communicate comfortably with senior business leadership (Director, Executive Director, VP) and demonstrate strong critical thinking, structured problem-solving, and the ability to work "in the customer's shoes" and "outside the box" to resolve issues in a deadline-driven environment. The role ensures both customer expectations and internal delivery requirements are met on time, within scope, and within budget.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead extended account teams with customer-facing responsibilities for RFx bidding, contract management, customer scorecards, QBRs/QTRs, and account-based initiatives.
  • Define account priorities and strategies to guide consistent customer engagement and cross-functional alignment.
  • Host RFx kick-off meetings and ensure cross-functional teams deliver timely, high-quality responses. Maintain RFx trackers and opportunity status, including budgetary quotes.
  • Coordinate internal pre-review readiness for key meetings (pricing, RFx, solution reviews) by engaging required stakeholders.
  • For established accounts, lead regular account team calls to track and report customer-related opportunities, issues, risks, and actions.
  • Create and maintain functional team maps and customer playbooks for internal education.
  • Identify gaps in meeting customer expectations, assign owners, and track closure through weekly priority reviews.
  • Track business pipeline with account teams and support achievement of business targets.
  • Lead QBR/QTR preparation, distribution, follow-up actions, and customer communication.
  • Manage program scope and lead cross-functional, cross-geography teams (Development, PM, FAE, Quality, ISR, SC, Service, Operations, etc.), ensuring clear ownership and execution of project activities. Deliver within defined schedule, cost, and quality targets.
  • Build, maintain, and execute project schedules; monitor checkpoints, milestones, and readiness status.
  • Track and communicate project readiness, including BOM validation, Dataline enablement, ECNs, and CTO/LTO configuration readiness.
  • Maintain project documentation and MS Teams repositories to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Set up regular project management BMS meetings (e.g., ODT) and specific sessions to review status, identify issues, drive resolution, and ensure alignment.
  • Manage sustaining change processes, including PCRs (second-source validation, new SBB introduction, FW updates, new supplier introduction, EOL, new configurations) and PCNs (coordination, submission, and cross-functional voting).
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Development, Fulfillment, and other stakeholders to resolve quality issues through closure.
  • Track key program KPIs, including customer/supplier NRE payment status and time-to-delivery metrics.
  • Conduct Lessons Learned sessions to support continuous improvement in program and process execution.

Basic Requirements

  • 10+ years of customer engagement and program management experience in Compute, Storage, or GPU/AI product lines.

Preferred Requirements

  • Understanding of Cloud Service Provider business requirements and end-to-end server solution delivery.
  • Proven experience working with OEM, ODM, or System Integration partners in the data center ecosystem, along with familiarity with key hardware manufacturing processes such as PCBA, building block assembly, and system build stages (L10/L11/L12).
  • Strong customer focus and business acumen; familiarity with P\&L analysis; MBA is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with global teams across multiple time zones.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; able to coordinate diverse stakeholders toward aligned outcomes.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and structured problem-solving capabilities; able to navigate complexity and ambiguity.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple programs/accounts simultaneously and balance competing priorities.
  • High resilience and composure in deadline-driven environments.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written communication).
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and project scheduling tools.
  • PMI certification is a plus.
