As our Assistant Branch Manager, you will help lead the daily operations of our Morris branch. In this role, you'll work closely with the Branch Manager to oversee branch performance, support consumer staff, and help ensure exceptional service for every customer. Responsibilities include managing team members, providing Relationship Banker and Teller services, and resolving customer inquiries.

This is a full-time, exempt position. Usual days and hours are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week which are scheduled to meet branch needs. Hours vary depending on business needs.

What you'll need to be our Assistant Branch Manager:



  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • One-plus years of Customer Service experience.
  • Two-plus years of Teller experience or combination or Teller and Personal Banker experience.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.) and ability to use and learn various job-related software programs.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Availability to work Saturdays and/or extended hours as required to support branch operations.

What you'll do as an Assistant Branch Manager:



  • Provide day-to-day leadership that correlates with Mabrey's Vision and Mission Statements.
  • Assist the Branch Manager in developing and cultivating long-term business and consumer relationships.
  • Coach team members on product knowledge and skill development to effectively identify customer needs and match them with appropriate products and services.
  • Ensure the implementation of branch security and control functions to protect against unnecessary risk or exposure.
