An exciting opportunity exists at Force Motion Group in our Maumee location for a Sr. HR Generalist. This position serves as a strategic partner and collaborates closely with senior leadership and managers to align human resources initiatives and programs with business objectives. The HR Generalist will focus on promoting a positive, productive, diverse, and supportive working environment and culture by building strong relationships between employees and managers. Core Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic business partner to drive performance and profitability.
- Focus on integrating HR processes and programs with the business strategies specifically on talent development, retention strategies, succession planning, talent acquisition and employee relations to support a high performance, motivated and engaged workforce.
- Investigate internal employee complaints of unfair treatment, harassment, discrimination, workplace violence or hostile work environment. Recommend solutions to management including consistent corrective action or termination based on company policies, weighing legal risk factors to the organization. Document investigation, recommendations, and resolution to the complaint.
- Design and deliver training and education sessions for employees, managers and supervisors related to the employee experience and employee relations policies, programs and processes.
- Operates with autonomy and discretion; A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement that improves
- performance, retention, and the overall employee experience.
- Collaborate with managers to provide conflict resolution and guidance for performance management including help with preparation and reviewing of Performance Improvement Plans (PIP), coaching and employee relations issues, liaising with management and internal and external legal counsel, as needed, ensuring fairness and consistency.
- Supports and guides leaders to ensure compliance of HR laws and regulations, reducing risk to the Company.
- Analyzes data, trends, and metrics in partnership with the HR team to create insights for organizational leaders to facilitate informed decision making relating to business needs, develop solutions, programs, and policies.
- Develop and implement employee relations and engagement strategies to drive positive changes, improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
- Adherence to the Company Code of Ethics
- Other duties/projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of professional human resource administration, including two years in employee relations preferred OR its equivalent through training, education, and other experience.
- 3-5 years of human resource experience in manufacturing, or distribution environment or similar industry
- SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal, counseling, and negotiation skills.
- Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree, preferably in human resource management or related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
