Position Summary The UNM HSC Department of Anesthesiology is seeking a Program Assistant to work with the Education Staff of our Graduate Medical Education Programs. We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive student with great attention to detail to assist with various tasks. The assistant will be responsible for accurate data entry, meeting deadlines, communicating both in person and via email, and taking notes. Under direct supervision other duties will include; Designing and maintaining paper and electronic data files; verifying data accuracy; filing and collating documentation and reports; entering data in electronic files and databases.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM, enrolled at least halftime (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count), and if Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Computer skills

  • Skilled in the use of computerized systems and databases, Particularly Excel

  • Strong interpersonal skills
