The Community Outreach Representative plans, coordinates, and implements the activities of the Ohio Brain Injury Program, particularly the Star Behavioral Health Providers (SBHP) program within the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The Community Outreach Representative will be responsible implementing educational events, disseminating informational products, ensuring overall SBHP program fidelity, and fostering communication among state collaborators that includes scheduling, organizing and facilitating meetings, overseeing the provider database, acting as the point of contact for provider training; maintaining and updating the website and provider registry; answering inquiries regarding the program, providing community education and marketing about SBHP. Additionally, the individual in this position will provide administrative support and assist with grant management. The holder of the position may be required to present at trainings or other meetings in the community. The Community Outreach Representative coordinates with the Military Family Research Institute (MFRI) at Purdue University and other partners for data collection, data management and program evaluation; maintains documents, notes, agendas and other SBHP program documents for archival purposes. The Community Outreach Representative will collaborate with the Director of the Ohio Brain Injury Program to sustain program funding. The position requires periodic travel to coordinate in-person training events in Ohio. Some Saturday work may be required. Familiarity with military culture is desirable.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable. 4 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred. | |
