You Are:

HealthProof is searching for a highly skilled and experienced Release Manager to join our growing team. The IT Technical Operations Release Manager will be instrumental in planning, coordinating, and executing software releases across customer-facing technology delivery operations, guided by HealthProof's values.

The Opportunity:

* Plan, coordinate, and execute end-to-end release activities across multiple internal Agile development teams and vendors.

* Facilitate all release-related meetings, including planning sessions, readiness calls, and Go/No-Go sessions with management, stakeholders, and technical leads.

* Assess release readiness by validating that planned functionality, documentation, approvals, and dependencies meet organizational and customer expectations.

* Coordinate production deployments, overseeing execution of deployment steps, environment activities, and post-production verification.

* Manage the full release schedule, including regular scheduled releases, hotfixes, emergency patches, and ad-hoc deployments.

* Track and maintain all ticket defects, patches, and target patch dates, ensuring clarity, prioritization, and timely follow-through with development and QA teams.

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What You Need:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

* 10+ years of experience in software development or technical consulting roles with progressively increasing responsibility

* 5+ years of experience working directly with technical teams such as developers, QA, analysts, and product owners

* PMP certification strongly preferred; additional certifications in Agile or release management encouraged

* Prior experience in software analysis, development, or testing is strongly preferred

* Experience in healthcare or workers' compensation insurance is highly desirable

* Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks and experience facilitating Agile release processes

* Understanding of iterative and incremental development and the full software delivery lifecycle

* Experience using release and project tools, such as Jira, Rally/Central Agile, or VersionOne

* Ability to manage team backlogs and sprint progress in Jira or similar systems

* Familiarity with technical tools, including SQL Server, .NET, and ETL processes, is preferred

* Skills & Competencies:

* Demonstrated conflict resolution and negotiation skills, with the ability to drive consensus across teams

* Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation abilities with both technical and business stakeholders

* Experience in risk and issue management, particularly in release coordination

* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintain timelines, and meet release deadlines

* Ability to maintain confidentiality and work



Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST HealthProof provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote

Compensation Range: $110,000-$130,000



Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue up to 16 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave. They are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses. Certain regular employees may have the potential for quarterly incentive-based bonuses and or commissions depending on role. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
