Job Description




As a Security Officer - Armed Clearance Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. In this armed role, you will interact with personnel, respond to incidents, and provide exceptional customer service, all while embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and a caring culture that puts people first.

Pay Rate: $25.15 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or access.
  • Monitor for unusual activity and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Operate and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and other security-related equipment in accordance with company and location requirements.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and permitting entry to authorized personnel only.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and location staff to support a secure environment in an aerospace and defense setting.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas.
  • Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
  • An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • CPR Certification is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
