Description
Acara Solutions is seeking a Production Assembler to partner with KB Signaling Operation in Grain Valley, MO.
Job Summary
  • The production operator-Assembly will be responsible for building through-hole and surface mount printed circuit boards assemblies
  • Build through-hole (THT) and surface mount (SMT) printed circuit board assemblies.
  • Build upper level assemblies consisting of cabinets and chassis placing components and hardware on final builds per controlled parts list, drawing documentation and quality workmanship guidelines.
Job Description
  • Perform manual placement and solder through hole components per specifications
  • Install electronic components, hardware, apply solder mask, and apply solder tape to boards.
  • Perform Electronic Data Entry work into computer system
  • Be responsible for crimping, soldering, reading drawings and schematics.
  • Be responsible to navigate through work order management system
  • Work as an effective team member focused on meeting/exceeding business goals and creating a safe working environment and culture
  • Proactively and positively work with others to increase productivity and reduce cost
Here's what you'll get:
Shift: 1 st shift - 7:00am - 3:30pm (Mon-Fri)
Pay Rate: $40,500/year or $19.47/hour
Contract: Temp to Direct
Job Requirements
Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of assembly experience
Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic component identification skills
  • Ability to read and follow assembly instructions
  • Ability to use tools including pneumatic and standard crimpers, hand tools and power tools
  • Basic soldering skills
  • Basic component identification skills
  • Ability to work in multifunctional team environment
