Security Officer - Retail Mall Driver

As a Security Officer - Retail Mall Driver in Springfield, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere. Remaining visible and providing great customer service, you support a positive experience for guests and staff. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report activities and/or incidents to appropriate personnel, documenting all findings as required by site policies.
• Interact with the public and/or employees in a courteous and professional manner, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as appropriate.
• Remain alert to surroundings and potential security-related risks in the retail environment, taking appropriate action as directed by Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
