Johnson Financial Group (JFG) has an exciting opportunity to join our Consumer Special Assets team responsible for initiating and pursuing collection of delinquent Installment, Revolving Credit, Mortgage loans, and informing customers about loss mitigation options available. Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for collection communication activity on all consumer loans, with an emphasis on placing outbound telephone calls to assist borrowers in transitioning back to performing loan status.
  • Responsible for clearly communicating available loss mitigation options/statuses to borrowers.
  • Performs skip-trace process on borrowers without viable contact avenues.
  • Work with Retail and Mortgage operations to research and correct payment-processing errors to resolve delinquency.
  • Ensure all accounts are serviced within the policies and procedures of the Bank and Department while maintaining compliance with FDCPA, Wisconsin Consumer Act and all state and federal laws/regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications and Benefits

  • Possesses a positive telephone presence ensuring a pleasant client interaction.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality levels. Demonstrates flexibility in responding to changes in assignment and job responsibility in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of Freddie Mac and/or Fannie Mae servicing guidelines preferred. Successful candidate will have familiarity with pertinent state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Ability to consistently demonstrate high quality decision making, keen problem solving and analysis skills. Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong working knowledge of the operating system preferred. Strong PC skills required including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
  • High School diploma or equivalent. Advanced education/certification preferred.
