Job Summary:
The Workday Enterprise Solutions Team (WEST) is responsible for the administration and optimization of Workday and related systems for Finance, Human Resources, and Research Administration across the Universities of Wisconsin, while focusing on people, processes, and technology. The WEST Data and Reporting team supports data and reporting needs across the UW universities and the UW System through the development and maintenance of an enterprise data warehouse (the Enterprise Analytics Platform, EAP), Tableau dashboards, Workday reports, BIRT reports, Prism reports, Workday dashboards and discovery boards, and more. We are seeking an experienced Tableau Developer to develop, document, support, and maintain enterprise-level Tableau dashboards built on top of EAP. This individual will also participate in appropriate communities of practice and training to ensure a consistent understanding of data across the UW and to raise awareness of resources that already exist and those that are planned. It is expected that there will be close collaboration between the Tableau developer, data warehouse engineers, and Workday report developers moving forward. To be successful in this position, you will need to intentionally collaborate with customers and peers across WEST and actively foster a respectful, inclusive and safe team environment. Schedule will be determined with the selected finalist upon hire. The primary schedule will be during business hours on Monday through Friday beginning no later than 9:00AM CST and ending no earlier than 3:00PM CST. There is no expectation of on-call or off-hour work. However, during a critical outage, working off hours and weekends may be required. Key Job Responsibilities:
Workday and Enterprise Solutions Team (WEST) Compensation:Well qualified applicants can expect to earn between $80,000 - $105,000, with final salary based on experience and qualifications.
