A Brief Overview
Under the direction of a leadership, this role provides high-level support for divisional fundraising programs in Major Gifts. This role serves as a key liaison between members of the fundraising team, division staff, Foundation colleagues, as well as external stakeholders. This position will also work directly with donors and families who wish to contribute to the mission of the division.

What you will do

1.Provide major gift support to members of the fundraising team in their efforts to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward 6- and 7-figure individual donors. For example:

  • Assist in the creation of proposals and stewardship reports/activities in partnership with donor relations.
  • Prepare briefing materials for development colleagues, clinical and institutional leadership and support donor meeting follow up.
  • Work collaboratively with Prospect Management to support efforts to identify and engage new prospective donors.
  • Help manage donor qualification and referral processes.

2.Partner with the Directors of Development and clinical teams to understand the goals and learn about the programs, research, clinical care and family support initiatives.

3.Contribute to strong working relationships in Individual Giving and across the entire Foundation by interface with the community fundraising, corporate and foundation relations, and additional teams to help ensure engagement of fundraising foundations and related groups.

4.Opportunity to build, maintain, and manage a small, active portfolio of donors below $100k

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Required

Experience Qualifications

  • At least three (3) years of business development, sales, or fundraising support related experience Required
  • At least three (3) years of business development, sales, or fundraising support related experience in a healthcare, medical or academic related environment preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Advanced proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office) including spreadsheet software (Excel)
  • Advanced proficiency with customer relationship management software (Salesforce, Raiser's Edge)
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to convey complex or technical information in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Travel local and regional (Required proficiency)

SALARY RANGE:

$61,360.00 - $78,230.00 Annually

Salary ranges are shown for full-time jobs. If you're working part-time, your pay will be adjusted accordingly.
