Job Description:

The Talent Acquisition Consultant will, at various times of the year, recruit for positions across all business lines within the company, including but not limited to: Corporate, Claims, Insurance Sales, Travel Sales, Emergency Roadside Assistance, Automotive Services, Internships, and high volume call centers. The ideal candidate is accustomed to pivoting between business lines as needs arise.

Talent Acquisition Consultant- AAA The Auto Club Group

Reports to: Manager, Talent Acquisition

What you will do:

Serve as a Talent Acquisition (TA) Consultant on a TA team for assigned clients and potential candidates. Handle full cycle recruiting and sourcing for specialized technical, professional and/or sales positions requiring highly advanced skill sets and complexity. Maintain a thorough understanding of assigned business lines to include market trends, staffing needs, job levels, skill sets and competencies needed for effective operations. Proactively create an action plan to achieve goals. Use advanced knowledge and expertise to resolve complex problems/issues. Influence clients on talent decisions and run business line discussions regarding long term recruiting strategies and initiatives. Embrace and effectively navigate organizational changes and operational excellence. Serve as a resource for less experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Manage full cycle recruiting process including sourcing and pipelining candidates, screening, coordination of interviews, processing offer letters and assisting during the onboarding process

  • Serve as a SME, acting as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, offering insights into market trends, talent availability, and best practices to inform hiring decisions

  • Consult with hiring managers to determine strategy and set service-level standards for the recruiting process, while developing and managing effective relationships

  • Manage offer process from end-to-end with internal stakeholders including salary analysis and proposal, negotiating and closing

  • Leverage data to manage day-to-day operations, identify opportunities and alternative measures to inform actions and influence positive change to reach desired outcomes

  • Develop and execute strategies with internal and external sources to build and maintain a diverse pipeline of high-quality talent that fits the skillset of the job (even when there are no openings)

  • Ensure collaborative, customer-focused relationships with hiring managers and HR Partners

  • Maintain accurate records in the recruitment management system per our processes and workflows to ensure compliance, data integrity and operational excellence

  • Participate in/contribute to department or corporate-wide projects. Lead projects or major components of large projects. Conduct project analysis and assist in the development and execution of plans in support of business initiatives and corporate goals.

  • Maintain and grow strong industry network to proactively identify and attract top-tier candidates. Enhance competencies and experience necessary to continue professional development within this field.

We are looking for candidates who:

Required Qualifications (these are the minimum requirements to qualify)

Education (including minimum education and any licensing/certifications):

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

  • Five years of experience working through the full cycle recruiting process

  • Deep understanding of talent market trends, competitive intelligence, and sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill roles

  • Proven record of successfully sourcing, assessing, and closing candidates across a range of functions and levels

  • Manage req load and successfully adapt and pivot to the ever-changing needs of the business on short notice

  • Partnering with hiring managers and leadership to develop and execute effective recruiting strategies

  • Utilizing recruiting metrics and data to inform decisions and improve outcomes

Knowledge of:

  • EEO Guidelines

  • State and Federal selection and hiring regulations

  • Effective recruiting techniques

  • Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of Talent Acquisition (TA) best practices, procedures, and market trends, as it relates to your client alignment

  • Techniques used to develop recruiting strategies

  • Project planning and leading techniques

Skills:

  • Demonstrate strong organization and planning capabilities with a focus on detail-oriented execution

  • Effective time management and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to build and maintain strong internal relationships, driving collaboration and alignment

  • Proven ability to consult and influence as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and stakeholders across the senior leadership levels

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and objection-handling skills across senior leadership levels

  • Proficient in data analysis to inform hiring strategies and measure recruiting effectiveness

Preferred Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or related field

Experience:

  • Workday ATS experience with tracking, reporting, and managing candidates

  • HR Certifications; SHRM-CP, PHR

  • Recruiting across multiple lines of business simultaneously

Work Environment

This position is currently able to work remotely from a home office location for day-to-day operations unless occasional travel for meetings, collaborative activities, or team building activities is specified by leadership. This is subject to change based on amendments and/or modifications to the ACG Flex Work policy.
