About the Role

Bracco Medical Technologies (BMT) is seeking an Associate Attorney to support our U.S.-based cardiovascular and diagnostic imaging businesses. In this role, you will manage a broad range of commercial, regulatory, and corporate legal matters in a fast paced, highly regulated environment. You will collaborate with business, regulatory, marketing, and compliance teams to provide practical legal guidance that aligns with business objectives while upholding strong ethical and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Contracting

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (marketing, rebate, master service, sales, etc.).

  • Advise contract managers and paralegals on contract terms, risk considerations, and compliance requirements.

  • Prepare contract summaries and key-term analyses; support post execution interpretation and risk evaluation.

  • Escalate complex or high-risk issues to senior counsel as appropriate.

Legal Research & Analysis

  • Conduct legal and regulatory research related to medical device, pharmaceutical, and healthcare operations.

  • Evaluate emerging trends, case law, and regulatory developments to support business strategy and risk mitigation.

Marketing, General Legal Support & Contract Management

  • Review promotional, marketing, and digital content to ensure compliance with FDA, FTC, and other applicable regulations.

  • Provide timely legal guidance on advertising initiatives, social media, HCP presentations, and related materials.

  • Respond to legal inquiries from internal partners and advise on transactional matters, governance, and corporate legal needs.

  • Draft or respond to legal correspondence with internal stakeholders or external parties.

  • Maintain and support updates to contract templates and contracting processes to ensure accuracy and regulatory alignment.

  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance contract management efficiency.

  • Assist General Counsel and Senior Corporate Counsel with additional legal projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

  • J.D. from an ABAaccredited law school; active license in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; eligible to obtain Minnesota House Counsel (Rule 10) license or Minnesota bar admission within 6 months of start; must maintain good standing.

  • Experience as a licensed attorneyin a law firm, government or corporate environment.

  • Experience drafting, reviewing, or negotiating commercial agreements in a law firm, corporate legal department, or government setting.

  • Experience or demonstrated familiarity with healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical regulatory environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct legal research, assess risk, and communicate complex concepts clearly.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining confidentiality and sound judgment.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare organizations.

  • Experience reviewing marketing or promotional materials for regulatory compliance.

  • Working knowledge of laws and regulations such as FDA promotional rules, U.S. Fraud & Abuse laws (Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act), HIPAA, GDPR, FCPA, and relevant industry codes (IFPMA, EFPIA).

  • Familiarity with rebate agreements, supply chain considerations, and commercial distribution models.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

Compensation & Total Rewards:

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $133,000 - $160,000

*Estimated Starting Salary Range is reflective of the range Bracco Medical Technologies reasonably expects to pay for the position. The range provided is based on salary and market data specific to the position.
