Role description Job Title Azure Databricks / PySpark Solution Architect - Banking & Financial Services Mandatory Skills Expert-level experience in Azure Databricks, PySpark, Delta Lake, Structured Streaming, Auto Loader. Strong knowledge of Azure Data Services: ADF, Synapse, ADLS Gen2, Event Hubs/Kafka. Deep understanding of Lakehouse architecture, distributed computing, and cloud-native design patterns. Strong SQL/NoSQL skills and experience with data modeling (Dimensional, Data Vault, Lakehouse). Hands-on experience in Spark performance tuning and large-scale data workload optimization. Experience implementing governed data architectures using Unity Catalog or Purview. Proficiency in CI/CD, DevOps, and IaC (Terraform/ARM/Bicep). Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Skills Banking / Financial Services domain experience: fraud analytics, payments, risk scoring, regulatory reporting, Customer 360. Experience with cross-cloud Databricks architecture (Azure / AWS / GCP). Familiarity with microservices, event-driven architectures, and enterprise system integrations.
