Position Summary:
As the Manager - Project Execution at ITT"s Valencia location, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient execution of development projects in addition to supporting fielded production. You will lead a team of professional Program Managers, Project Engineers and Product Managers engaged in leading efforts with start to finish responsibilities for New Product Introduction from proposal to transition into production. This role is an active participant in providing production support ensuring ITT Aerospace is meeting internal / external customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
*Leadership: Provide effective leadership to the Project Engineering, Project Management and Program Management teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability. Drive a problem-solving culture.
*Collaboration: Work closely with the Valencia functional teams and site leadership to ensure seamless collaboration, knowledge sharing, and alignment on achieving program milestones, first production hardware and other customer deliverables on time and budget. Have intimacy with the customers and be the point of escalation to resolve issues.
*Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the execution of Development Programs including Schedule Variances to Baseline Schedule, Cost Variances to Baseline Cost and Scope Change Management.
*Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance NPI, increase revenue and margin and establish / improve business execution processes.
*Budget Management: Tracking labor and expense budgets, ensuring responsible allocation of resources to meet project and program objectives.
*Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all engineering activities adhere to relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
*Talent Development: Foster the professional growth and development of team members through coaching, mentorship, and training opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications:
*Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience leading cross functional teams in New Product Development and Production transitions
*Demonstrated leadership in managing a staff of Project and Program managers within the aerospace or related industry with a demonstrated track record of success executing complex programs. Defense program experience is advantageous.
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments and locations.
*Familiarity with industry regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols.
*Experience interfacing and communicating directly with customer program offices through development lifecycles.
