Position Title: Assembly Wage: $20.00/Hour Shift: 1st Shift Hours: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM Monday - Friday Reached a dead end at your current job? Check out how this position can create a new path! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for an Assembly position at a company in Janesville, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply today! Assembly Responsibilities: - Perform mechanical assembly following blueprints, technical drawings and schematics - Operate hand and power tools Requirements For Assembly: - Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly; prior pump or motor assembly experience strongly preferred. - High School Diploma or GED - Able to read and follow technical drawings, blueprints and schematics - Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools - Excellent communication and organizational skills - Competence in basic data entry or inventory tracking systems - Able to problem-solve, prioritize tasks and lead a small team effectively - Able to lift and move up to 50lbs - Comfortable working in moderate to loud noise levels - Previous experience providing training, mentorship, and technical guidance to team members is a plus - Able to troubleshoot machines is a plus - Previous experience assembling pump components including motors, shafts, impellers, seals, and related parts using hand and power tools for AY machine experience - Can interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to ensure accurate builds - Able to work independently and in a team environment QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
