Washington, DC Pay From: $34 per hour MUST: Experienced Electromyography Technician High school or Associates Degree required 2+ years of experience a electromyography technician Current knowledge of basic EEG**, evoked-potentials and nerve conduction studies. Must be able to follow detailed instructions. Able to establish good rapport with patients, public and the staff. Must be comfortable conducting studies on severely ill patients DUTIES: Explain procedures; screens for contraindictions like blood thinners and ensure patient comfort and stillness Placing electrodes for testing Recording electrical signals Managing equipment Express knowledge of anatomy and physiology Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
