Title: Assembler (Space Flight Department)
Industry: Industrial Batteries for Military/Space applications Direct Hire: $20.00 - 28.00 per hour 1st shift 7-330 Responsibilities Assemble cell pairs and modules in accordance with approved design data to include procedures and drawings Assemble a variety of products ranging in volume from unique single piece units to repetitive hundred unit runs Occasionally communicate and work with engineering to assist them in developing robust assembly processes Perform rework on assembled components based on written and verbal direction Complete build documentation records, both written and electronic, with a high level of precision and accuracy Perform Quality Assurance functions to include visual inspection, dimensional verification and document review Ability to work on live cells, modules and batteries Extreme focus and attention to detail Ability to clearly and concisely communicate observations, challenges and successes with production manager, engineering and customer representatives **Strong mechanical aptitude** Basic understanding of DC electrical circuits Ability to read and understand mechanical assembly drawings and process specifications Ability to operate various hand-tools and numerous other manufacturing equipment Good interpersonal and organizational skills Able to adapt quickly to new methods and techniques, to learn quickly and can work independently or as part of team Basic computer knowledge with some experience with Microsoft Office Working Conditions Class 10,000 clean room, temperature and humidity-controlled space Safety glasses and Steel toe shoes required Standing - 75%, Sitting - 25%, Working with computer - 25% Ability to lift 50lbs Requirements HS Diploma 2 Years + Mechanical and electrical assembly experience After you have applied, download our Staffmark Group WorkNOW App to receive real-time job offers and apply for additional opportunities.
