Intelligence Operations Support Planner

The Opportunity:

In today's information-rich environment, skilled analysts are essential for identifying and interpreting the most valuable data, ensuring clients receive the best possible answers. As an Intelligence Operational Support Planner and Intelligence Professional, you will draft and edit the intelligence portions of Operational Plans (OPLANS), Operational Orders (OPORDs), Planning Orders (PLORDs), and Fragmentary Orders (FRAGOs).

You will participate in Planning Groups and Operational Planning Teams (OPTs), develop and integrate Department of Defense Information Network and defensive cyberspace capabilities into plans, and support action officers throughout the planning process while staying informed of missions and priorities. Your responsibilities include reviewing drafts and providing advice and assistance to OPTs and Joint Planning Groups (JPGs), as well as reviewing plans to identify expressed or implied missions and responsibilities. You will develop concepts of support, create courses of action, integrate command and external capabilities, and coordinate and document comprehensive plans. Additionally, you will assist in intelligence planning, research, and analysis of OPLANS, ensuring that all aspects of operational planning are informed by accurate and timely intelligence.

You Have:

  • Experience with the Marine Corps Planning Process (MCPP), Joint Planning Process (JPP), or military planning processes such as the Military Decision Making Process or Rapid Response Planning Process
  • Experience briefing General or Flag Officers and collaborating with primary staff members
  • Experience as a prior Military Intelligence Officer
  • Knowledge of ISR programs, assets, sensors, and systems
  • Knowledge of multi-intelligence all-source collections and disciplines, including SIGINT, MASINT, IMINT, GEOINT, HUMINT, and OSINT
  • Knowledge of intelligence support requirements for Marine Corps operations
  • Knowledge of Marine Corps Doctrinal Publications
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in support of Service, COCOM, or Joint Staff operations
  • Experience working with Joint and national intelligence support to military operations
  • Experience working with USMCTactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (TENCAP) programs
  • Bachelor's degree

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
