Job Description:

The Quality Systems Engineer is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality systems that support semiconductor manufacturing operations. This role ensures compliance with industry standards, drives systemic improvements, and supports cross-functional teams in maintaining a robust quality management framework.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems in alignment with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and semiconductor industry standards.

  • Lead internal audits, gap assessments, and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes.

  • Establish and lead site quality Management reviews with focus on QMS effectiveness improvement.

  • Manage and support customer and regulatory audits, including preparation, execution, and follow-up on corrective actions.

  • Manage document control systems, change management workflows, and quality records.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure quality system compliance and readiness.

  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to quality systems, documentation, and compliance.

  • Provide training and guidance on quality system requirements, use of quality tools, procedures, and best practices.

  • Lead cross-functional problem-solving efforts using structured methodologies (e.g., 8D, 4C, FMEA, RCA).

  • Ensure alignment between quality systems and operational processes across the fab.
