Company Overview
Performance Drone Works (PDW) builds technologies for the warfighter, by the warfighter. Born out of the Drone Racing League, our roots are competitive, our mindset is tactical, and our mission is clear: deliver purpose-built unmanned systems to those who serve. We are not here to sell vapor; we build and ship real capabilities for real missions.

Now, we're entering a new phase of growth and are looking for a Finance & Business Operations Intern to work alongside key stakeholders and learn about the core functions of each Business Operations department. This internship is designed to give you exposure to primary business operations processes through hands-on rotations in Finance, Security, Human Resources, Production, and IT. You'll learn how each team supports PDW's mission and gain the skills to help keep a growing organization running at its best.

What You'll Do

  • Gain exposure to FP&A processes, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Rotate through different teams (Finance, Security, HR, IT, and Production) to see how each one contributes to PDW's success.
  • Learn how we manage our spaces and operations by helping with facilities projects and vendor coordination.
  • Get an inside look at how we keep our people and systems secure through real-world projects.
  • Support the HR team and learn about hiring, onboarding, and keeping our teams connected.
  • Work with the IT team to understand how we manage our tech, troubleshoot tools, and support day-to-day operations.
  • Shadow the Finance team to learn how budgets, expenses, and financial planning come together behind the scenes.
  • Shadow the Production team to learn how inventory management ties to financial planning and oversight.
  • Take ownership of mini projects, share what you learn, and present your insights at the end of your internship.
