The Position
2026 Summer Intern - Immunogenicity & Bioanalytical Sciences Department Summary Our BioAnalytical Sciences Department is a world-class bioanalytical center of excellence for novel strategies, technologies, and methods that enable the development of life-changing medicines. We do this by fostering an innovative and collaborative environment that values and recognizes diversity of contributions. We are seeking a highly motivated intern to join our team for the summer of 2026. The successful candidate for this multidisciplinary laboratory-based position will work closely with our scientific team to evaluate the physiological relevance of primary dendritic cell (DC) models used for immunogenicity risk assessment and specifically their implementation in immunopeptidomics or MAPPs (MHC-associated peptide proteomics) assays. The intern will use advanced cell biology techniques, flow cytometry and high-resolution mass spectrometry to investigate how culture microenvironments influence antigen processing and presentation kinetics. This is a unique opportunity to apply deep immunological expertise to translational drug development questions. The internship position is full time and located in South San Francisco, on-site. Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $46.00 hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
