We are seeking a Marketing Data Analyst to transform complex marketing data into actionable business insights for Growth Marketing and executive stakeholders. Leveraging advanced analytics, data integration, and data visualization, you will enable confident, data-driven decision-making across the organization. Your work will directly shape marketing strategy, budget decisions, and revenue outcomes. You will go beyond reporting on performance to influence how DataBank invests, positions itself in the market, and grows its pipeline. What You'll Do Own Marketing Data Strategy & Modeling
- Lead the design and development of unified data models that integrate, clean, and structure complex marketing datasets. Sources include Google Analytics, Salesforce, Seismic, YouTube, and other platforms as needed.
- Proactively identify gaps, inconsistencies, and limitations in marketing data and propose scalable solutions to improve data quality, reliability, and usability within the Data Lake House (DLH) environment (e.g., Snowflake).
- Operate autonomously, making informed decisions amid incomplete or evolving data.
Translate Data Into Insightful Stories
- Design and deliver clear, compelling dashboards and visualizations in BI tools (e.g., Sigma Computing) that transform complex data into actionable narratives for marketing, sales, and executive stakeholders.
- Go beyond reporting to explain why performance is changing and what actions should be taken as a result.
Drive Demand Generation Performance
- Own measurement and analysis of demand generation initiatives, including lead volume, conversion rates, pipeline contribution, and customer acquisition costs.
- Surface insights that directly influence campaign optimization, channel strategy, and go-to-market decisions.
Measure and Influence ROI
- Lead ROI analysis for marketing initiatives, identifying what's working, what isn't, and where to reallocate budget for maximum impact.
- Deliver recommendations that influence marketing efficiency, revenue contribution, and long-term growth strategy.
Market & Growth Analysis
- Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, customer segments, and regional performance to uncover growth opportunities.
- Translate insights into recommendations that support prospecting strategies, content development, campaign targeting, sales enablement, and strategic planning.
- Experience in the data center industry is a plus, not a requirement - strong marketing and data analysis expertise is the priority.
How You'll Succeed in This Role Success looks like:
- Building trusted dashboards and models that stakeholders rely on to make decisions.
- Surfacing data-driven insights that measurably improve campaign ROI and pipeline performance.
- Proactively identifying opportunities and risks before they become obvious.
- Turning messy, incomplete data into clear, confident recommendations that shape GTM strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Marketing Analytics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated experience supporting marketing, growth, or demand generation teams with data and analytics.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data integration within data warehouse or lake house environments (e.g., Snowflake).
- Strong hands-on experience with BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Sigma Computing, Tableau, Power BI), with an emphasis on clarity and storytelling.
- Proven ability to build and maintain unified dashboards that deliver actionable, decision-driving insights for cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience working with core marketing and revenue data sources such as Salesforce, Google Analytics, and marketing automation platforms.
