Description and Requirements

We are looking for a talented communications leader for our new Solutions and Services Group (SSG) to help shape Lenovo's journey in service-led transformation.

If this sounds like you, and you thrive in the ever-changing technology landscape we may have an opportunity for you on our SSG Communications team.

This position has the ability to work fully remote in the EST or CST time zone. If the selected candidate is located in Raleigh, NC this will be a hybrid opportunity working from home and office each week.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and establish Solutions and Services portfolio communications capability and strategy
  • Drive storytelling and narrative development around SSG portfolio
  • Communicate complex technology in clear and concise ways to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Develop portfolio messaging, proactive pitches, presentations, and thought leadership (latter in close alignment with group narratives) for offerings built across SSG
  • Work closely with marketing teams to develop written materials around key offerings launches, including company messaging and statements, communications plans
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Legal, IT/R&D) on coordinated campaigns, events, and product/portfolio/offerings launches
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for all SSG portfolio communications initiatives
  • Direct and monitor agency PR partner, working closely with Zeno in the US and Asia Pacific
  • Create, execute and guide communications strategy for a wide range of launches, announcements, and major product/portfolio communications initiatives to support strategic business objectives
  • Collaborate and strategize closely with General Managers of the SSG offering groups: Digital Workplace Solutions, Hybrid Cloud and AI, Sustainability, Global Product and Solutions
  • Select the best channels for executing portfolio communications strategies ie. press releases, social media, paid media, blogs, and external & internal campaigns and external channels
  • Partner with product and solutions teams to craft narratives that demonstrate Lenovo's leadership in enabling business outcomes through technology innovation, including AI-powered and cloud-based solutions.
  • Develop clear, engaging content and messaging that highlights how Lenovo's portfolio - spanning digital workplace, hybrid cloud, AI, and sustainability-delivers measurable customer value.
  • Support executive visibility and thought leadership on emerging technologies and trends through strategic storytelling, media engagement, and event participation.
  • Monitor and anticipate technology and market trends in AI, cloud, and services to inform communications strategies and reinforce Lenovo's position as a trusted global technology partner.

Basic Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in portfolio/services & solutions communications

Preferred Requirements

  • Strong understanding of hybrid cloud ecosystems, data management, and AI solution architectures, with the ability to translate technical concepts into compelling business narratives.
  • Demonstrated experience in communications for AI-driven products, cloud transformation, or enterprise technology innovation.
  • Familiarity with generative AI trends, ethical AI discussions, sustainability, and how emerging technologies are reshaping IT service delivery.
  • Detail-oriented, fast-learning, strong writing skills
  • Ability to convey complex ideas in a direct and plainspoken way
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Keen interest and knowledge of "New IT" development, from hardware to edge and cloud computing to network and artificial intelligence, including the latest trends and coverage.
  • Proven experience in working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Strong coordination and organization skills, and ability to meet deadlines

This role offers the flexibility to be home-based anywhere in the U.S. within the Eastern or Central time zones. If you're near our Chicago or Raleigh offices, we follow a friendly hybrid model with three days a week in the office-great for collaboration and connection!
The base salary range budgeted for this position is $130,000 to $160,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonuses and/or commissions. Lenovo's various benefits can be found at www.lenovobenefits.com.
